WHEN THE TRUTH CAUSES HEADACHE TO A SENATOR

I have never for once taken Ben Murray Bruce serious and I don't think I will ever do. The reason is ever since he became a senator the cowardice in him blossomed to high heavens. And to crown it up he employed the services of no other than the loquacious Reno Omokri aka Wendell Semlin to be his twitter handler, Yorubas will say "Abajo "what good do we expect from such a man?

For how many years BMB run his own private TV station, and with the ills taken place in the Country he never had the common sense to talk. While Nigeria was being looted to death under the watchful eyes of his kinsman Goodluck Jonathan, BMB never had the common sense to condemn that. When the former first lady was acting like the defacto President BMB then had no common sense to condemn it.

But lo and behold this our "OYINBO " Brother automatically discovered his common sense when his brother was sacked from office as president and he became a senator. I never knew it will take a man of BMBs calibre to become a senator before "COMMON SENSE " sets in. It's a pity. As he has now become a big disgrace because while his mates are active on the floor of the red chambers he is busy active on Twitter.

BMB has criticized every move of the Buhari administration but his recent one on quoting the president out of context regarding "Calling Nigerians criminals " is just over the bar.

All my life i have known the truth is bitter but I never knew it can even cause some people heart attacks. Some of us have experienced the bad image of Nigeria several times that when you now hear the likes of BMB conderm the president for stating the obvious then you wonder if the president is not being vindicated.

The Nigerian passport is the most "SUSPICIOUS " in Africa and one of the most suspicious in the whole world. You are practically a suspect on presenting the green passport of the federal republic of Nigeria at any point of entry in the world. BMB inclusive. And I don't think it was PMB that made it so, rather it was Nigerians. I have traveled to quite alot of Countries with the Nigerian passport and I got it in full dose. But today being a man with dual citizenship of Nigeria and Germany I no longer travel with a Nigerian passport except going home to Nigeria. I know the difference between how I was treated then and how I am being treated now . So PMB is not happening because PMB said what he said.

What the president said is this "We have an image problem abroad and we are on our way to salvage that ". Abeg is there any Nigerian that don't know that we as Nigerians have  BIG image problems all over the world?  Is there any Country in the world were you don't high numbers of Nigerians in prison?  Several Nigerians have been executed for drugs related offenses in Asia and even as I write a Nigerian is waiting his appointment with the hangman in that same Asia. Was it PMBs statement that caused that?  Let BMB and his common sense mention some people from other African countries that have so been executed in Asia.

So is BMB telling us that the president was not telling the truth? What makes you a good parent is condemning your child's wrong doing and discipline him or her when necessary and not trying to cover up for him or her. And as the father of the Country PMB is doing just that. The fact is Nigerians have always been blessed with very corrupt leaders with the kinsman of BMB taken the Nobel prize for that , so they find it difficult to understand a sincere leader like PMB.

There is hardly nobody in Europe or America or any other part of the world for that matter that don't know Nigeria is a very blessed Country yet her citizens suffer because of a few Nigerians. I cannot remember how many times I have been asked in various parts of the world what kinds of people God created in Nigeria?  I have been asked for what a normal human being needs all these monies being stolen by Nigerians when those who genuinely have it like the Bill Gates of this world are given theirs away?  The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation has given to humanity more than anybody or organization has given in human history. These are their hard earned money part of which Nigeria and Nigerians are benefiting from. But the likes of BMB steal the ones meant for the people and pretend like all is well.

One thing that differentiate us from other civilized Countries is that while they are truthful to themselves we lie to ourselves. When a German discovers his or her child is doing anything suspicious that is against the law him or her will be the first to report that child to the authorities not because he or she hates that child but because of the love for that child.

What did BMB want PMB to tell the world about what is a known fact?  "That my citizens are very law abiding people that they don't commit crimes?  Give me a break. How will the world look at him?  Nigerias image is improving today all over the world because of the sincerity and no nonsense  posture of PMB against corruption.

The father of the underwear bomber was the one who first reported his son to the authorities. Not because he hated him but because he love him and don't want him getting himself involved in situations he can't handle. Had the authorities taken actions then  maybe Mutahlabs life wouldn't have been ruined by now and Nigerias image wouldn't have been on the international terrorist lists.

While PMB is a father who knows how to protect his family BMB is a man of questionable character.

PMB DIDN'T CALL NIGERIANS CRIMINALS RATHER HE TOLD THEM WHAT SOME OF THEM ARE.

So BMB don't let the truth give you headache because of sentiments. PMB is doing his work on ground while you are doing your own on Twitter.
