UNITeS Cisco Networking Academy is a global education program that teaches students how to design, build, troubleshoot, and secure computer networks for increased access to career and economic opportunities in communities around the world. Since 1997, Networking Academy has grown from a small-scale program designed to help schools get the most out of their networking equipment to become Cisco’s largest corporate social responsibility programme.
The Networking Academy in Nigeria is expanding further and has vacancy for the post of an IT Instructor in the following locations:
Cross River State
Bayelsa State
Ondo State
Edo State
Ekiti state
Ogun state
Benue state
Job Description
Train students using the organisation’s special curriculum
Facilitate practical classes in Systems Hardware using Comptia A+ curriculum
Be responsible for managing the IT systems in the location
Perform additional duties as assigned by the management
Qualification
University Degree or HND in relevant course
Possession of A+, CCNA, and CCNP will be an added advantage
Minimum of 1 year work experience in a similar position
Applicant has to be based in the location, and should indicate this on their application
Required Skills
Knowledge of Systems hardware and Networking skills
Impressive Interpersonal and Communication skills
Effective teaching skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Graphic suite (E.g. CorelDraw 12) and Programming
